Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers during the check-out process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
  • Perform all cash register functions, including handling cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and processing transactions
  • Bag groceries and provide excellent customer service to customers
  • Work collaboratively with the Front-End team to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the Front-End area, stockroom, and other designated areas
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, including setting up and breaking down the Front-End area
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked store
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, vendors, and team members to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
