Job Summary

Cumberland River Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Crisis Technician to join our team. As a Crisis Technician, you will provide care for individuals presenting for CCBHC services in a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Crisis Intervention Services: Respond to emergency situations in a timely and effective manner, providing care based on ethical concepts and principles.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work effectively with other team members to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals in crisis.
  • Document Client Information: Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans.
  • Ensure Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality at all times regarding client information and adhere to agency policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Training and Development: Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in crisis intervention and behavioral health.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to exercise good judgment, tact, and diplomacy in crisis situations.
  • Physical Demands: Physically able to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift up to 100 pounds.
Work Environment

The Crisis Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to individuals in crisis. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
