Work Schedule: Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with potential adjustments as directed by the supervisor.
Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the CCBHC Project Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves providing essential administrative assistance to the CCBHC, ensuring smooth daily operations by managing phone communications, scheduling appointments, and welcoming clients.
Core Duties Include:
- Support the development and execution of policies, procedures, and systems for the intake office, including financial transactions.
- Engage with clients in a courteous and supportive manner, facilitating connections to the appropriate staff.
- Guide new clients on the required documentation for their initial appointments.
- Coordinate access to necessary CCBHC services while assisting the treatment team.
- Perform various clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Ensure effective communication of vital information across all CCBHC programs.
- Maintain accurate records for Sample Medication and Storage.
- Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Essential Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and empathy in conflict resolution and crisis situations.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work as part of a comprehensive community mental health team and represent the agency positively in the community.
Additional Responsibilities:
The physical demands of this position require the employee to meet specific criteria to perform essential functions successfully. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities.
- Must be physically capable of reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Obtain and maintain a Notary certification in the State of Kentucky if required.
