Qualifications: A High School diploma or GED is required. Experience in Behavioral Health is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check and a drug screening test.

Hours: This position entails a commitment of 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling based on a shift rotation; availability is required for a 24/7 operational environment, which may include overnight shifts.

Reporting Structure: This role reports directly to the CCBHC Project Coordinator.

Job Overview: The Crisis Response Specialist is responsible for providing care to individuals seeking CCBHC services.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
  • Delivering care guided by ethical principles while maintaining professional boundaries with consumers.
  • Conducting thorough assessments of all new clients as per agency protocols.
  • Upholding confidentiality at all times regarding client information.
  • Implementing services as outlined in individual treatment plans.
  • Responding promptly to emergency situations.
  • Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary team members and working independently when required.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
