Job Summary

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia seeks a highly skilled Business Manager to oversee the efficient operation of the parish business and school. This role requires strong accounting, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the parish business, including financial planning, budgeting, and accounting.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Diocesan regulations.
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance on financial matters.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Collaborate with the Pastor and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office software, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Certification in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience working in a Catholic parish or school.
