Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience in engineering, maintenance, or a related professional area
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to attend and complete company and brand training
  • Self-starter with effective leadership skills
  • Proficient in English; bi-lingual a plus
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk distances frequently, and regularly stand for extended periods

Job Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

  • Performing and supervising maintenance operations to ensure functions are in accordance with Platinum Companies and brand standards
  • Complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances as they apply to the property, guests, and associates
  • Adhering to safety and emergency procedures and policies, including removing all safety hazards
  • Responsible for assets and property inventory control
  • Maintaining, repairing, and operating equipment for optimum effectiveness, efficiency, and safety
  • Preparing work schedules for department personnel
  • Working with management to establish priorities for total property maintenance needs
  • Performing on-call emergency service as required
  • Managing department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budget goals
  • Maintaining accurate logs and records as required
  • Performing interviews and contributing to hiring decisions for department staff
  • Working closely with management to ensure communication among all departments is frequent and clear
  • Handling guest problems and complaints effectively
  • Fulfilling Manager On Duty responsibilities
  • Keeping company business, including financials, personnel, guest, and customer data, strictly confidential
