We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Technician to join our team at Lynn Public Schools. The successful candidate will work closely with our Behavior Specialist to provide behavior support to students in need.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing materials for classroom organization, scheduling, and behavior management
- Model and provide classroom support in the use of ABA strategies, discrete trials, and data collection
- Assist IEP team members in data collection and graphing of the data
- Assist in preparing training for teachers, related service providers, and paraprofessionals
- 48 college credits or associate degree or creditable paraprofessional experience
- RBT certification or willingness to undergo training
- Training in Safety Care or willingness to be trained as a Safety Care trainer
- Experience as a classroom staff member working with students with behavioral difficulties
- Ability to be flexible with scheduling
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to model behavior management strategies for students with behavioral difficulties
- On-going knowledge of research in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis
