Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and happiness of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with patient care, including preparing patients for surgery, administering anesthesia, and taking x-rays.
  • Obtain and test samples, such as stool and blood, to help diagnose and treat medical conditions.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by the veterinarian.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to obtain medical information and provide instructions on animal care.
  • Work collaboratively with the client service specialist team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
  • At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
  • Ability to properly restrain animals and lift 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.
