Job Summary

The Kaiser Permanente team is seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner II to join our thoracic surgery department in Santa Clara, California. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with physicians and other clinicians to ensure effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients undergoing surgical procedures and those who have undergone invasive procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to ensure smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a nurse practitioner.
  • One (1) year of experience within the past three (3) years as a NP providing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures and/or those who have undergone surgical/invasive procedures.
  • Masters Degree in Nursing required; Adult NP, Family Practice NP, Acute Care NP, or Pediatric NP completion required if practicing in a specific population.
  • Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (California), Registered Nurse License (California), and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
