Nurse Practitioner in Maternal Care

As a Nurse Practitioner in Maternal Care, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and new families. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive care throughout the labor and delivery process, collaborating with obstetricians and midwives to develop individualized birth plans, and assisting with childbirth and postpartal care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers throughout the labor and delivery process.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized birth plans and interventions.
  • Assist with childbirth, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures.
  • Provide emotional support and education to mothers and their families during the postpartal period.


Requirements
  • Current RN license.
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility).
  • Two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience.
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.
