Healthcare Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to serve as our Patient Liaison - Healthcare Service Recovery. As the primary point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, you will be responsible for resolving complaints, issues, or concerns related to TriHealth Physician Practices. Your role will involve receiving, investigating, and resolving complaints through coordination with practice administrators, physicians, and team members. Additionally, you will engage in service recovery processes, obtain information from callers, and escalate concerns to supporting departments if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in service recovery processes to resolve patient complaints and concerns
- Obtain information from callers regarding complaints and communicate this to appropriate managers within 24 business hours
- Facilitate investigation and service recovery processes
- Prioritize issues that require immediate attention for resolution
- Investigate grievances by accessing electronic medical records, billing records, and/or interviewing team members and physicians
- Offer resolution based on feedback from leadership
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting, is required. An Associate's Degree or Diploma in Business is preferred, but equivalent experience is accepted in lieu of a degree. Proficient Microsoft Office skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills, and strong computer skills are essential. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are also required, along with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Benefits:
TriHealth offers a competitive salary range of $42,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Salary Range:
$42,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
