The Operational Technology Solutions Engineer will be stationed at our state-of-the-art Chromatography Resins facility. As this facility transitions to full operational capacity, the engineer will focus on establishing a sophisticated operational technology framework for manufacturing processes. Following the implementation phase, the role will shift towards ongoing enhancements, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance, development, and support for site operational technology applications.
- Coordinate the lifecycle management of operational technology hardware and software in collaboration with users and technology leaders.
- Manage user support inquiries and enhancement requests effectively.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and OT teams at the site.
- Assist in computer system validation efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., IT, computer science, electrical engineering, or network administration).
- Proven experience in system management and support.
- Familiarity with operational technology applications and lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work within multidisciplinary teams in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Background in chemical plant operations, mining/mineral processing, pulp or paper processing, or life sciences.
- Knowledge of specific applications such as Oracle Process Manufacturing, Pas-X, Snitcher label printing, PI System, ABB 800xA, Rockwell PlantPAx, and Emerson DeltaV.
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of operational technologies.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Capability to navigate process plants safely.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
