Position Overview

We are in search of a Masonry Foreman who specializes in brick and block construction. In this leadership role, you will manage a team of masons and oversee various projects to ensure successful completion. Your primary focus will be on commercial construction, and your ability to interpret blueprints, collaborate with other professionals, and enforce safety protocols will be crucial. Your expertise in brick and block work will be vital for upholding our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of masons on commercial brick and block construction projects.
  • Interpret blueprints and ensure precise execution of masonry tasks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors.
  • Supervise the installation of bricks, blocks, and related materials.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and mentor junior masons.
  • Oversee material procurement and project cost estimation.
  • Conduct inspections and resolve any arising issues.
  • Coordinate with other trades and communicate project updates.
  • Maintain project documentation and stay informed on industry advancements.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Masonry Foreman in brick and block construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial masonry practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations.
  • Expertise in selecting appropriate brick and block materials.
  • Competence in estimating materials and costs accurately.
  • Proficient in the use of masonry tools and equipment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license.
