Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet or Exceed Sales Goals: Achieve or surpass store and individual sales goals, annual operating benchmarks, and personal objectives.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience: Consistently execute the La-Z-Boy selling process and strive to provide a favorable experience to all customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of features and benefits of existing and new product lines.
  • Customer Inquiries: Resolve customer inquiries and escalate appropriately when needed.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Promote in-home design program and maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with support teams to ensure operational excellence and proper execution of all existing and new systems and administrative procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, effective communication skills, and customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and nearly continuous use of repetitive hand motions, hearing and listening.

  • Technology Skills: Proficient in using various technology tools and software.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
