About the Role

CEVA Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Transaction Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. As a key member of our real estate team, you will be responsible for managing a portion of our technical and operational aspects of the real estate function for CEVA Freight Management (FM) and Contract Logistics (CL) in North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, including lease renewals, new lease transactions, and property acquisitions.
  • Foster key relationships with landlords, developers, brokers, and advisers to leverage scale and provide competitive cost and service advantages.
  • Coordinate the negotiation of incentives and tax abatements with local, county, and state municipalities.
  • Manage new real estate transactions, including renewals, blend and extends, acquisitions, relocations, dispositions, consolidations, build-to-suits, and bid searches.
  • Obtain real estate market surveys and reviews to establish acquisition baselines.
  • Manage transactions involving new construction, including land acquisition, developer selection, and construction oversight.
  • Collect building specifications and standards to fit the requirements of the operation.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Region and Product leaders, Business Development, Solutions Design/Engineering, Legal, and other functions to align real estate strategies with overall business goals.
  • Plan and implement measures to meet CEVA's Sustainability goals.
Requirements
  • Mandatory Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred Business, Supply Chain, Real Estate, or Legal degree
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial Real Estate industry
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in logistics or supply chain industry
  • Extensive knowledge of Contract Logistics and Freight Management businesses a strong plus.
  • Excellent reporting skills and good ability to synthesize complex problems
  • Animated by a strong curiosity toward business/strategic topics
  • Eager to learn more about supply chain topics
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
