Warehouse Operator Job Description

TSMC Arizona is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including material receiving, storing, and shipping, as well as inventory management and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform material receiving, storing, and shipping of goods in the warehouse
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accuracy of stock counts
  • Support the Supervisor with warehouse training, shipment scheduling, and problem solving
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Work with planners, vendors, and manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of products and materials
  • Handle manufacturing inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate a computer to execute all warehouse tasks by means of SAP and office software to manage inventory for inbound and outbound shipments
  • Provide administrative support to the warehouse and fulfillment team, including data entry, filing, and answering phones
  • Assist with order processing, ensuring accuracy and timely material fulfillment to the manufacturing team
  • Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed
  • Participate in the development and implementation of warehouse procedures and policies
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, provide regular updates to leadership
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment, with strong demonstration of teamwork and leadership skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software (SAP experience is a bonus)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to drive a car, truck, and powered industrial machinery like a forklift
  • Physical fitness for performing the warehouse activities like standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting heavy objects up to 49LBS
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically, prioritize work and make sound decisions
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations such as HAZMAT material handling and storage with certification, or ability to become certified in one or more of these areas, as necessary

The Warehouse Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective administration and operation of the warehouse and material fulfillment center. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, who is able to work independently and as part of a team.
