Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the radiology team in our Diagnostic Imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive appraisals of patients' health status by taking health histories and performing physical examinations in clinical area.
  • Provide direct clinical care to patients, including prescribing medications, therapies, and ordering laboratory tests and procedures.
  • Evaluate patients to determine their need for further health care and provide comprehensive teaching to patients and families.
  • Document all care and education provided in the medical record and refer to other disciplines as appropriate.
  • Consult with other disciplines in areas of expertise and integrate research-based knowledge and clinical expertise in decision making.
  • Exemplify a professional image in appearance, manner, and presentation and advocate for patients, families, coworkers, and the community.
  • Maintain certifications and continuing education as required for licensure and privileging and participate in quality improvement and/or research initiatives for specific patient populations.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
