KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following points outline the general nature and level of work expected from individuals in this role. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and skills required.

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of various Spa Manicure and Pedicure services, demonstrating the ability to efficiently perform a wide range of these services in a Spa environment while maintaining exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. Proficient in all types of acrylic nail applications. Ensure thorough maintenance and sterilization of all nail tools and pedicure equipment as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and restock supplies in the Spa/Salon while consistently delivering outstanding guest service and being attentive to client needs.
  • Provide accurate guidance to clients regarding their choices and complete retail transactions for Spa products and services.
  • Exhibit high ethical standards, demonstrating honesty and integrity while refraining from any dishonest or unethical behavior.
  • Perform duties with tact, courtesy, and efficiency.
  • Show a strong level of initiative, effort, and commitment to completing tasks efficiently, working with minimal supervision, and demonstrating responsible behavior and attention to detail.
  • Assist with various tasks such as restocking, cleaning, or other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain complete and accurate client records.
  • Follow company and salon/spa policies regarding cleaning and sanitizing equipment, chemical usage, and care.
  • Actively promote the sale of appropriate salon/spa products and services.
  • Deliver a diverse range of Spa services within the scope of licensure, including Facials, Body Wraps, Exfoliations, Waxing, Manicures, Pedicures, Artificial Nails, and Make-up application, with unwavering attention to quality and service.
  • Stay informed about any marketing promotions.
  • Adhere to established safety procedures to ensure the safety of clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Be responsible for consistent and regular attendance.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To excel in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary. AGE and GAMING:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Gaming property - Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A High School diploma or GED is preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must hold the necessary certifications and licenses as mandated by the State of Mississippi.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence. Ability to write basic instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense reasoning to various situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Essential responsibilities include light to moderate physical activity, capable of lifting and maneuvering a minimum of fifty (50) pounds, pushing or pulling a minimum of seventy-five (75) pounds. Extensive bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and stretching may be required throughout the assigned shift. Stand and/or walk approximately 25% of the assigned shift, sit approximately 75% of the assigned shift. Perform position requirements and/or essential functions on slippery or wet surfaces. Work with hazardous materials.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.

The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level may increase significantly. Associates may be exposed to tobacco smoke in designated areas.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, Associates must be flexible to work varying schedules that reflect the business needs.
