The individual in the logistics operations and customer support role serves as a vital point of contact for our carriers and clients, facilitating our daily operational activities. The candidate will assist our team to ensure efficient pick-up and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and oversee the scheduling of shipments for pick-up and delivery.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with carriers and clients to guarantee a seamless freight movement experience.
  • Coordinate customs clearances with Canadian and US customs brokers and ensure follow-up.
  • Manage customer profiles and input shipment data into McLeod software.
  • Request freight quotes for both Spot and Contract markets.
  • Schedule pick-up and delivery operations.
  • Keep and update precise information in the company's operational systems, tracking shipments until completion.
  • Facilitate daily carrier interactions with clients and the operations team.
  • Follow established operating procedures while identifying opportunities for enhancement.
  • Assist drivers in setting up the Macro-Point tracking application on their devices.
  • Support the team in gathering Proof of Delivery (POD) for timely invoicing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with TMS Software is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for editing PDF documents is beneficial.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook.

This position offers a competitive compensation package based on experience.
