About the Role

This is a key position within Citi's Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS) Division, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Fintech clients across Latin America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the LATAM region, in collaboration with regional and country partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key global and regional clients, identifying new business opportunities and growing existing relationships.
  • Identify and onboard new clients, in line with Citi's risk appetite framework, and retain existing clients to grow volumes and values.
  • Develop and execute a client focus strategy for all key clients and sub-sector targets, identifying cross-sell opportunities and driving revenue growth.
  • Lead complex cash management deals end-to-end, including RFP responses and client pitches, recommending innovative cash management solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industry and regional competitive environment, staying up-to-date on market trends and developments.
  • Act as a steward of the business, influencing its strategy and market leadership as a key business member of the regional and global sales team.
  • Manage key Balance Sheet Drivers, including assets and liabilities, and work closely with control functions to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance, and supervision, expense discipline, and ethics, and ensure that all business decisions are made with proper consideration for the firm's reputation.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Fintech sales, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
  • Solid Fintech experience, with a deep understanding of the industry and regional competitive environment.
  • Broad client management experience, with excellent communication and written skills, and the ability to interact at all levels of global, regional, and local clients.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including self-organizational skills, and the ability to operate in a complex matrix environment.
  • Spanish speaking preferred, but not required.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
