Role Summary

The Construction Superintendent will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of job site operations. This position requires a strong presence on-site, ensuring effective communication with various project stakeholders, including clients and architects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of construction workers, overseeing work schedules, project milestones, and resource distribution.
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates for labor, materials, and other project-related expenses.
  • Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction professionals to establish budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment with suppliers and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain work schedules for employees and subcontractors.
  • Recruit additional subcontractors and allocate tasks as necessary.
  • Keep a detailed daily log of job site activities, providing reports to management when required.
  • Adjust operations as needed to ensure construction deadlines are met.
  • Apply management strategies that promote cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a construction environment.
  • Demonstrated history of successful project management.
  • Proficient in interpreting construction documents.
  • Knowledgeable about regulatory construction standards and safety protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000.
