The Role

We're seeking an Animal Care Technician to join our team. As an Animal Care Technician, you will be responsible for providing basic husbandry services and performing tasks involved in the care, maintenance, and welfare of animals. This is a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for producing high-quality clean caging and general animal care. You will work with large animal caging, load and unload caging into a rack washer, and perform daily room cleaning and general cleaning duties.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and basic computer and math skills. Previous animal experience is beneficial, and you must be able to communicate effectively in a professional manner. This is a physical position that requires the ability to bend, squat, kneel, and stand for up to 7 hours a day. You will also need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and be able to regularly push and pull heavy objects and safely move or lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds).

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $19.50-$24, depending on experience.
