The Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager, playing a pivotal role in the daily operations and communication within the Marketing team and across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Marketing Assistance:

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in maintaining an organized database of ongoing marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and adherence to deadlines.
  • Support budget management by tracking expenditures, invoice details, and campaign timelines.
  • Facilitate vendor interactions, manage paid media bookings, and coordinate advertising efforts.
  • Contribute to the marketing team by overseeing the distribution and proofreading of promotional materials.
  • Organize meetings and take notes to ensure effective communication within the department.

Email Campaign Management:

  • Collaborate with the Digital Media Manager to create and distribute marketing emails, including development outreach, educational content, targeted sales communications, and audience engagement emails.
  • Work alongside the Associate Director of Marketing and Analytics to refine email targeting strategies and implement CRM initiatives.

Community Engagement:

  • Assist in nurturing and expanding community partnerships to enhance visibility and audience interaction with the theater.

Audience Insights & Campaign Evaluation:

  • Support the Associate Director of Marketing and Analytics in conducting surveys and research to gain insights into audience demographics and behaviors.
  • Help generate reports analyzing campaign performance and return on investment using various software tools.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Adapt to the dynamic environment of the marketing team, executing various tasks as directed by the Marketing Manager and other leadership.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or project management.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles and project management practices.
  • Experience with CRM software is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of visual editing software is a plus.
