Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to join our team in Denver, Colorado. As a SQL Database Engineer, you will be responsible for database administration, design, development, and support of applications and systems.

About the Role

You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to understand their database needs and make recommendations for self-service offerings. You will also participate in IT projects from inception to daily maintenance phase and have good understanding of cloud concepts.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve complex problems by investigating and devising solutions for database operations.
  • Develop automation frameworks (Infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines) and tooling consumed by the entire engineering organization.
  • Enhance automated functions including monitoring, backing up, recovering, increasing availability, user management, access controls, and logging audits.
  • Provides after-hours and weekend support and participates in on-call rotation (24X7).
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL Server administration and automation/scripting experience.
  • Experience with AWS database administration, deployments, ideally RDS SQL Server.
  • 2+ years of AWS cloud experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of DevOps experience preferred.
What We Offer
