Job Description

This role involves administering our on-premise and Azure data and analytics platform.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of these systems, focusing on uptime and performance.

Your key responsibilities will include overseeing data warehouse and analytics platform performance on both on-premise and Azure.

Additionally, you will manage various Azure data pipelines, job schedules, and systems to ensure performance and uptime.

As a technical expert in our data and analytics ecosystem, you will support AIR Communities' operations, analytics, and reporting teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a MS SQL Server administrator
  • Experience with cloud data warehouse and analytics technologies, specifically Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Data Lake, and SQL Server (SSIS and SSAS), Power BI
  • Knowledge or experience with infrastructure (operating system and networking) and cloud administration
  • Knowledge or experience with data access control/security models
  • Azure certifications (data related)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies in a cloud, database, data warehousing, and BI space
  • BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Science or related field or a combination of technical skills, cloud, system administration, and operations

  • Estimated pay rate: $110,000 - $130,000 plus 15% annual target bonus
