About the Role
\The Martha O'Bryan Center seeks an experienced Development Outreach Manager to drive fundraising efforts and engage with community partners. As a key member of the development team, you will contribute to building strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and faith groups.
\Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for engaging churches and other faith communities with the mission at Martha O'Bryan Center.\
- Create meaningful volunteer experiences and manage volunteer programs that align with organizational goals.\
- Design and deliver impactful tours that showcase the agency's mission and impact.\
- Manage in-kind donations, including receipt, distribution, and stewardship.\
- Provide logistical support for events, including setup, coordination, and follow-up.\
- Collaborate with program staff to develop and implement effective volunteer management strategies.\
- Analyze data to inform volunteer recruitment and retention strategies.\
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fundraising and volunteer engagement.\
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including the CEO, CDO, and program managers.\
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.\
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information and confidential documents.\
- Contribute to a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the organization.\
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.\
- Attend meetings, conferences, and events as needed to represent the agency.\
- Travel locally as required for events, meetings, and site visits.\
- Utilize technology, including Raiser's Edge and other software, to manage donor and volunteer relationships.\
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.\
- Support special events, campaigns, and initiatives as needed.\
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and evaluate effectiveness.\
- Stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.\
- Estimated salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.\
- Bachelor's degree and one or more years of related experience required.\
- Demonstrated commitment to the nonprofit sector preferred.\
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills essential.\
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required.\
- Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar CRM software beneficial.\
- Event management and planning experience a plus.\
- Fluency in English language required; bilingual skills a plus.\
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.\
