Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Process Engineering Team in Carlsbad, CA. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing methods and processes to produce company products, ensuring a culture of safety is maintained in all processes and throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Streamline and simplify processes with a focus on safety, quality, waste reduction, and cost improvement.
  • Lead assigned projects, validation, and changes to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Identify, plan, and execute projects to achieve capacity, cost, yield, reliability, and cycle time improvements.
  • Apply Danaher Business Systems (DBS)/Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce process variability and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Process Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing Tools such as Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and formalized Problem Solving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment such as medical device.
  • Experience with Process Capability Analysis, Minitab or JMP Statistical Knowledge.
