About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Tech to join our team at Coral Shores Behavioral Hospital. As a Mental Health Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to patients with mental health needs, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
  • Monitor patient behavior and report any changes or concerns to the treatment team.
  • Participate in treatment planning and implementation, including developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • At least one year of previous experience in a healthcare setting and/or previous behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Must complete and maintain training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
  • Must pass competency exams within 90 days of hire.
