Coral Shores Behavioral Hospital is a 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Stuart, FL, providing inpatient treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our professional staff, and contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including monitoring, documentation, and communication with the healthcare team.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year of previous experience in a healthcare setting and/or previous behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Must complete and maintain training Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
