As a Chemical Equipment Repair Specialist with the Army National Guard, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the readiness and efficiency of our equipment. About the Job

This position requires strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail. You'll work with a variety of systems, including engines, pumps, and electrical systems, to ensure they're functioning properly. Your work will contribute to the success of our operations and the safety of our personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair internal combustion engine ignition, fuel, and cooling systems
  • Perform damage assessments and repairs
  • Maintain and repair equipment, including chemical decontamination units and quartermaster machinery

To be eligible for this position, you must:

  • Be at least 17 years old
  • Be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Meet citizenship requirements
  • Pass a physical exam
Salary and Location

The estimated salary for this position is $28,000 - $34,000 per year, depending on your location and level of experience. You'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of locations across the country, including in the United States and overseas.
