We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Specialist - Advanced Professional to join our team at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. The successful candidate will provide oversight of budget and fiscal matters, advising department(s)/unit(s) on budget management, financial controls, and policy and procedure. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to compile data for analysis and forecasting purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Reconcile and manage ledger and clearing accounts for administrative area
- Provide training and guidance to employees on budget management and financial controls
- Establish and implement processes, procedures, and systems for efficient office operation
- Review and approve financial documents, transactions, and construction contracts
- Perform audit functions and assist with annual processes for administrative area
Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The following clearances must be successfully completed for this position: Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History, and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
