Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing Personal Care Services: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Developing and Implementing Individualized Service Plans: Collaborate with residents, family members, and other healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans that meet each resident's unique needs and preferences.
  • Ensuring Resident Safety and Well-being: Monitor residents' health and safety, reporting any concerns or changes to management and participating in the development of emergency response plans.
  • Participating in Community Events: Engage with residents, families, and staff in various community events and activities, fostering a warm and inclusive environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification: A valid CNA certification is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience Working with Seniors: Prior experience working with seniors in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Physical Stamina: The ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods, as well as provide physical assistance with transfers and mobility.

Benefits and Compensation

Sunrise Senior Living offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
