Medical Technician I

DispatchHealth Management is seeking a Medical Technician I to join our team. As a Medical Technician I, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Technician I to work directly with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our CLIA certified mobile laboratory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical laboratory procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Perform various clinical laboratory tests and procedures, including blood draws, IV starts, and EKGs.
- Work under the supervision of licensed NP/PA providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Assist with patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs, and documentation.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain point-of-care laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Medical Technician certification with IV certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
