Job Title: Medical Technician I

DispatchHealth Management is seeking a Medical Technician I to join our team. As a Medical Technician I, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our CLIA certified mobile laboratory.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with strong customer service skills to work in our dynamic and growing clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and hematology, with experience using an i-STAT device. If you are a team player with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Work under the supervision of licensed NP/PA providers to provide patient care and support
  • Perform patient assessments and monitoring, including vital signs
  • Administer IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law)
  • Apply splints and provide wound care
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point of care laboratory equipment
  • Perform EKGs and assist NP/PAs in daily functions
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
  • Medical Technician with IV Certification or Certified Medical Assistant
  • Basic Certification with TX, EMT License (hiring credential only) or Certified Medical Assistant
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • BLS, American Heart Association
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
