Savannah Terminal Operations Specialist

Role Overview:
As a Port Driver under Talon Logistics Inc., your primary responsibility will be to safely transport ocean and intermodal containers to and from ports in Savannah, GA. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Transportation: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles for transporting containers.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of cargo to designated locations.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to provide real-time updates.
- Adherence to Regulations: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assistance with Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL: Must have a valid CDL and a clean driving record.
- Port Operations Knowledge: Strong understanding of port operations and regulations.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Navigational Tools: Familiarity with GPS and other navigation tools.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Port Transportation Experience: Experience in port transportation is preferred.
