Key responsibilities include maintaining quality standards in healthcare, educating community physicians and healthcare professionals about HSI programs and services, and modeling the Hospice Savannah Corporate Values.
Qualifications include a license to practice medicine in Georgia, board certification in a medical specialty dealing with end-of-life care, and experience in caring for terminally ill patients.
Additional requirements include excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to represent HSI within the physician community and general public.
Daily visits and rounds to Hospice House patients, participating in on-call schedules, and providing Hospice Physician services for home care patients are also essential duties.
