Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Section Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for leading the control systems section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support. You'll also function as a control systems design lead, taking responsibility for production on projects and managing section staff and technical service functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the control systems section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support
  • Function as a control systems design lead, taking responsibility for production on projects
  • Manage section staff and technical service functions
  • Be involved in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews
  • Implement, monitor, and support company policy
  • Select, train, develop, and manage technical personnel
  • Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts
  • Coordinate the work of the control systems design team through the design development and contract document phases of a project
  • Write and edit control systems specifications, and select equipment and monitoring/control devices
  • Review electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
  • Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders
  • Provide construction contract administration as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Professional registration, license, or certification may be required based on role
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Good leadership and organizational skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
