Position Overview:


Reporting to the Executive of Business Development, this role is integral to a collaborative sales team focused on generating non-dues revenue.

This position involves identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential clients while managing the complete sales pipeline and successfully closing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage extensive knowledge of the healthcare sector to research and identify potential leads, including hospitals, health systems, and medical practices.
  • Utilize various outreach methods, such as calls, emails, and networking events, to generate and qualify leads. Initiate conversations with key decision-makers through proactive prospecting.
  • Engage with prospects to assess their needs and objectives, qualifying leads based on established criteria.
  • Take full ownership of the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring continuous updates and management of leads throughout the sales cycle.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets by successfully closing sales opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our healthcare products and services to effectively convey their value to potential clients.
  • Create and maintain sales materials, including presentations and collateral, to support lead generation efforts.
  • Document all interactions with leads and provide regular updates on lead generation and qualification activities.
  • Collaborate with senior sales leaders to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads and contribute to ongoing improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market developments to adapt sales strategies effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare sales or a related area, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software is required.
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of products, services, and operational practices.
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships and close sales with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Exceptional skills in prospecting and lead generation.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
