Highway Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team in Pennsylvania. As a Traffic Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from designing traffic signals and highway geometrics to performing capacity analyses and preparing traffic impact studies. Our ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a passion for transportation planning and a strong background in civil engineering.

Responsibilities:
• Design traffic signals and intersection/highway geometrics
• Perform intersection and roadway capacity analyses using HCS, Synchro, and/or Vissim software
• Prepare traffic impact studies
• Assist in reviewing traffic impact studies and site plans
• Experience with traffic calming, bike/ped safety studies a plus
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• 3+ years experience in traffic analysis, traffic signal design, signing, and striping design
• Experience with Modeling programs, including SYNCHRO, HCS AutoCAD and/or MicroStation V8i
• EIT required, PE, PTOE preferred
