At TheMasonGroup, we're seeking a highly skilled Automation Expert to join our team.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced professional with expertise in system integration and automation to lead our projects from concept to operational readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex control systems to meet client needs
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop solutions for clients
  • Conduct hands-on troubleshooting of field control systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide technical support to resolve equipment and process issues
  • Mentor junior staff members and share knowledge to drive success
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in programming PLC control and PC-based SCADA systems
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or related technology preferred
  • Proficiency in multiple manufacturers' automation hardware and software
  • Experience with hard-wired, wireless, radio networks, and cellular networking
  • Knowledge of VPNs and cyber security a plus
  • General knowledge of water and wastewater systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills

This is a salaried position, with an estimated annual salary range of $110,000-$140,000 based on industry standards and location.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
