Job Summary

i3 is seeking a highly skilled RF Hardware Engineer to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division.

The successful candidate will design and analyze RF components and circuit assemblies for radar systems, ensuring the highest level of performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate, and test RF subsystems in seekers for threat simulators.
  • Perform analysis of emerging RF seeker threats and report findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement RF hardware solutions.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in RF circuit board design and layout.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation of RF circuits using industry standard simulators.
  • Working knowledge of transmission lines and their application to RF propagation modes.
  • RF test and evaluation using laboratory equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of experience in RF hardware design and development.
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing in radar applications.
  • Knowledge of RF antennas and beamforming networks.
  • Experience with RF front end design.
