JOB SUMMARY
The Offshore Recruitment Consultant serves as the primary contact for Offshore Recruitment, collaborating with global Operations teams and HR Business Partners throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from candidate screening to onboarding. This role involves managing recruitment partnerships, developing candidate pipelines, and contributing to continuous process enhancements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the complete recruitment cycle for the Offshore Recruitment team utilizing our applicant tracking system and established processes.
  • Screen, evaluate, interview, and select offshore candidates from recognized talent sources and pools, adhering to Seadrill's standards.
  • Maintain relationships with external recruitment partners, providing timely updates on candidate selection, quality assessments, and addressing inquiries.
  • Identify and recommend potential new recruitment partners strategically positioned to source offshore talent.
  • Develop and manage candidate pipelines, ensuring a selection of pre-qualified candidates for future requirements.
  • Provide efficient support to operations and local HR regarding offshore staffing needs, including rig start-ups and ongoing operations.
  • Manage the offshore recruitment process from the initiation stage through to onboarding.
  • Analyze offshore recruitment trends, including offer rejections and turnover rates, and proactively suggest improvements to resourcing and retention strategies.
  • Effectively manage the Offshore surplus list in collaboration with the broader HR team to prioritize employee placement and disposition.
  • Propose and assist in the establishment of new recruitment processes and procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Proven experience in high-volume recruitment from diverse sources, including LinkedIn, industry-specific platforms, agencies, and referrals.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in an HR role, with a minimum of 3 years focused on recruitment.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or qualification in Human Resources Management.
