The Junior Maintenance Technician position at JG Real Estate LLC supports our team by handling handyman-level tasks that require a high level of skill but are not at the level of our senior maintenance technicians.

This role is also expected to provide support to the maintenance team on an as-needed basis with tasks such as lockbox pickups and conducting inspections.

Responsibilities:

  • Painting and Patching: Perform painting and patching tasks to maintain the appearance of our properties.
  • Appliance Repair and Installation: Repair and install appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Debris Removal: Remove debris and clean up after maintenance tasks.
  • Lockset Replacement: Replace locksets to ensure secure access to properties.
  • Fire Safety Equipment Installation: Install smoke, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers to ensure fire safety.
  • Landscaping: Perform landscaping tasks to maintain the appearance of our properties.
  • Carpentry Work: Perform general carpentry work to maintain and repair properties.
  • Miscellaneous Repairs: Perform other miscellaneous handyman repairs as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Prior Experience: Have prior experience in construction or handyman work.
  • Tool Knowledge: Have working knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
  • Home Systems Knowledge: Have working knowledge of basic home systems.
