Key Responsibilities- Office Management: Ensure the efficient operation of the office environment, including scheduling, record-keeping, and communication with stakeholders.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Manage the schedules of Reentry Services staff, ensuring timely completion of responsibilities and effective coordination of programs.
- Community Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with community providers, stakeholders, and reentry services to increase referral potential and enhance program effectiveness.
- Program Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of reentry programs, including Reentry/Recovery Panels, Speaker Series, and Job Fairs.
- Reporting and Statistics: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of program statistics and metrics, as required.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Maintain knowledge of and comply with ACA standards, policies, and procedures of the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office.
- Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year correctional or judicial experience.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications/Licenses: Valid Massachusetts Driver's License.
The Reentry Administrative Assistant will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The position involves frequent communication with stakeholders, community providers, and reentry services, as well as occasional direction, control, and planning activity.
