The Corporate Paralegal Specialist provides critical legal support services to the Legal Department at JM Eagle, a leading manufacturer of high-grade plastic pipe products. This role involves providing research assistance, document preparation, and review, as well as supporting the creation and revision of company policies and forms.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the General Counsel to provide legal assistance in all aspects of corporate practice, including litigation support services.
- Communicate with counsel to update litigation logs and reserves data, ensuring seamless coordination with other company departments.
- Conduct research and analyze regulations, legal articles, and judicial decisions to provide written analysis to attorneys.
- Produce documents related to corporate policy development and implementation.
- Draft and negotiate contracts, including confidentiality agreements and other types of agreements.
- Work with the Legal team on special projects and initiatives, exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the General Counsel.
- Bachelor's degree
- Paralegal certificate required with five (5) years of related experience
