Job Overview

Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Hazardous Building Materials group, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and fieldwork to support environmental and regulatory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of commercial, private, municipal, and residential properties to identify potential hazardous building materials.
  • Collect and analyze air, wipe, and/or bulk samples for asbestos, lead, PCBs, radon, and other regulated materials/chemicals.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of inspection findings.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to design and implement solutions for hazardous building materials and environmental services.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Environmental Science, Safety Studies, or similar field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in building sciences, environmental sampling, and/or construction.
  • CT Asbestos Inspector and Asbestos Project Monitor certifications required.
  • CT Asbestos Designer certification and Asbestos Management Planner certification preferred.
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction training and HAZWOPER training preferred.
