Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our network and security operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day management and support of the production network, installation and implementation of network gear during network expansion or new site setup, and managing large-scale campus networks with thorough understanding of Cisco's layered architecture.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical knowledge and extensive hands-on experience of managing large-scale campus networks, switching technologies like VLANs, STP, VTP, GLBP, HSRP, EtherChannel, and routing protocols like BGP and EIGRP. Experience with technologies such as DMVPN and IPSec VPN is also required.

The successful candidate will also have knowledge on network monitoring and management tools, IP Telephony, and WAN acceleration. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, ability to perform effectively under pressure, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day management and support of the production network
  • Installation and implementation of network gear during network expansion or new site setup
  • Manage large-scale campus networks with thorough understanding of Cisco's layered architecture
  • Implement switching technologies like VLANs, STP, VTP, GLBP, HSRP, EtherChannel
  • Implement routing protocols like BGP and EIGRP
  • Implement technologies such as DMVPN and IPSec VPN
  • Monitor and manage network performance using network monitoring and management tools
  • Implement IP Telephony and WAN acceleration
Requirements
