Job Description

At United Wholesale Mortgage, we're committed to making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our applications, automated testing tools, and testing/defect management processes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality of our applications.
  • Participate in our Agile culture and framework, including Continuous Improvement Culture, Scrum, and Kanban Frameworks.
  • Carry out functional and non-functional testing, including web accessibility, product app security, server-side load and performance, and client-side page speed.
  • Review automated test results and take appropriate action to ensure high-quality releases to production.
  • Collaborate with team members in other roles, including Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, and Product Owners.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong coding skills in one or more programming languages such as C# or Java.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks Selenium/Web driver/TestNG.
  • Experience defining test strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency testing web services or API.
  • Proficiency with relational databases.
  • Experience with non-functional testing.
  • Highly collaborative mindset and a good team player.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple, and understandable way.
  • Onsite, full-time attendance.
  • Computer-related degree or equivalent experience.
