Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Prepare products for delivery, adhering to quality and food safety standards.
  • Receive and process telephone orders, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Clean equipment and facilities daily, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to accurately handle cash and make change.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and safely in a warehouse environment.
Working Conditions

As a Delivery Driver, you will be exposed to various working conditions, including:

  • In-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
  • Sudden changes in work area and while outside.
  • Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters, including walk-in coolers.
  • Hot surfaces from ovens and tools up to 500 degrees or higher.
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying up to 30 pounds, pushing/pulling trays on dollies.
  • Climbing, stopping/bending at the waist for 30-45 seconds repeatedly.
  • Reaching up/down/forward, performing hand tasks using hand-eye coordination.
