Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide services to clients under the general supervision of registered nurses, physicians, psychiatrists, or other qualified personnel.
  • Perform tasks within the scope of your educational preparation, knowledge, and permitted by local, state, and federal guidelines, as well as facility policies.
  • Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team, assisting with the coordination of services, including planning, monitoring, documenting, and conducting evaluations of services to clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and make observations regarding clients' physical conditions, behaviors, and responses to treatment, reporting any significant changes to supervisors and other staff members.
  • Utilize behavioral techniques to prevent injury to patients and others, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for clients, and respond appropriately in crisis situations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a residential setting or working in the mental health field is preferred.
  • Maintenance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Workers or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for Healthcare Workers is required.
  • Good computer skills, leadership skills, ability to organize and prioritize, and patience, consistency, and flexibility are essential.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and work independently.
Work Schedule:

Work hours include Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 11pm, and one 8-hour shift during the week.
